Grilled Salmon

Serves 2, Cooking Time -  30 minutes.


2 Salmon Steaks
Tablespoons Mama Vasty’s Irresistibly Tasty Spiceblend
5 Tablespoons water
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
Fresh salad to garnish


Mix the Spiceblend, water and vegetable oil to make a smooth paste and brush on both sides of steak.

Leave to marinate for about 10 minutes.

Place steaks evenly on grill at around 200°c for 10 minutes each side until cooked.

Serve with salad.

Grilled Chicken Wings


Clean wings, put into a bowl and set aside.

Mix Mama Vasty’s Spiceblend with water and oil to make a nice thick paste and then pour over wings and massage well.
For best results leave to marinate overnight.

Heat oven to 200°c and arrange wings onto a baking tray and cover with tinfoil.

Bake for 45 mins to 1 hour, then uncover and grill for the last 15 to 20 mins until sauce is caramelized and sticky and
the wings are a rich toffee colour (the dark colour is the spices and does not mean the wings are burnt!!)

Spicy Chunky Chips


Maris Piper/King Edward potatoes into chunky chips (make sure that your chips are the same size to ensure they cook evenly).

Generously sprinkle the chips with Mama Vasty’s Spiceblend.

Deep fry in hot vegetable oil until golden brown.
